Theme: Design of prefabricated modules with ecological materials for a refugee camp in the context of the Ukrainian crisis.

The 4th International Workshop on BIM Technologies for the Resolution of Social Architectural Projects, Case Study: "Refugee Camp. Ukraine Crisis". It aims to link students, professors and experts in architecture from the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya- UPC, the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana- UAM Azcapotzalco (Mexico), the Master in Processes for Graphic Expression and Architectural and Urban Design- MPEGPAU and the department of representation of the University of Guadalajara (Mexico), the Escola Técnica Superior d' Arquitectura de Barcelona, the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia, Innovative Eco- Construction System based on Interlocking Modular Insulation Wood & Cork, Based Panels- Sudoe IMIP, Community Initiative on Transnational Cooperation in Territorial Planning and Regional Development- Sudoe Interreg European Union, Sciences and Arts for Design and the Laboratory of Integrated Construction Practices to articulate a project with the design of prefabricated modules with sustainable materials for refugee camps in the Ukrainian crisis.

From the practice in an online working and learning space, the workshop aims to promote new forms of interaction through the use of BIM technology and to facilitate the production and distribution of knowledge despite the physical separation and professional, social and cultural differences of the participants. The online application of ICT technologies for the elaboration of projects will be studied, as well as the methodology of collaborative work of globally distributed teams.
