Here are the first complete IMIP type B panels produced by our subcontractor Incofusta.
The panels are the prototypes of the CLT composite. It is a sandwich panel composed of :
1/ a CLT composite made of local Radiata Pine, supplied and assembled by Incofusta,
2/ an insulation layer of natural expanded cork supplied by Amorim Cork,
3/ a composite CLT (see layer 1).
These type B panels will be part of the structure and roofing of the "Portugal" prototype to demonstrate the rapid assembly and disassembly of IMIP building systems.
These panels will also be tested (acoustic, fire and mechanical tests) at our partner’s facilities FCBA and AITIM.
